- The total number of text ads that can appear on a search engine results page will shrink from as many as 11 to a maximum of seven.

- Will an overall reduction in the amount of advertisements shown result in a higher Cost-Per-Click due to increased demand?
- If my high converting keywords cost more will our campaign budget have to then increase in order to achieve the same amount of conversions?
- Will Google expand its Search Partner Network in order to offer more overall ad placements and alleviate increase costs for advertisers?
What This Could Mean if You Want Earned Rankings in Google
For organizations that currently do use Google AdWords and instead, choose to earn their search engine rankings, here are some things to consider:
- With a 4th advertisement added to the top of a Google search engine results page, my organic search engine rankings will automatically become less visible for users.
- With a 4th advertisement added to the top of a Google search engine results page, how far will users scroll to find my organic search engine rankings?
- How should I focus more on mobile visitors to my site to help counteract any losses experienced by these desktop changes by Google?
